Clear answers before you start

Is the iPhone app really free? +

Yes. The iPhone and iPad companion app, pairing and encrypted Remote communication are included with Free. You do not need Managed AI credit to use them.

Do I need an Assistela account? +

No account is required for the free Mac-to-iPhone Remote connection. An account is needed only for optional account services such as Assistela Managed AI.

Do I need Managed AI credit? +

No. Connect a supported AI provider, subscription or API key of your own and use the full app for free. Managed AI is only a simpler optional way to pay for model usage.

What is the difference between Pro and Max? +

Only the amount of prepaid Managed AI credit. The apps, Remote connection and product features are the same as in Free.

Can I buy Managed AI credit now? +

Not yet. Pro and Max are shown as a preview and cannot currently be ordered. You can use Assistela for free with your own supported AI provider.
